COURSE DESCRIPTION

Prerequisites: None
Meetings: 48 minutes, One Semester
Open to: Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors
This
class
is provided for students who desire
a better understanding of visual
communication through photography.
Basic knowledge
of camera
types,
techniques and skills are developed
through instruction and use
of digital
cameras. Areas to be covered
include
types of
cameras and their operation,
photographic composition,
basic print finishing techniques;
as well as beginning digital
manipulation/editing
of student images utilizing
appropriate computer
hardware/software.
ACCESS to a digital camera with Manual capabilities is Highly Recommended
!
