Basic Description

  This web site is to contain information that is all "About YOU". Choose topics that you are interested in and gather information and images to best present to others on five web pages organized into a comprehensive site. Please follow the specific requirements listed below. Please remember that you are allowed (encouraged) to use fictional information to replace personal specifics about yourself (eg. Birthdate is 00/01/02 or Address is 123 Pottstown Way). (Oct 02)

Specific Requirements

A. Folder Organization

            1. Create and organize all folders
                  a) About Me Folder
                      1) images
                      2) navimages
                      3) originaldocs
                      4) pdfdocs

            2. Save ALL materials in appropriate folders

B. Individual Page Requirements

            1. Page titled appropriately within the HTML code
            2. Visible Page Title / Heading
            3. Your Name / Modification Date
                 a) Small unobtrusive

            4. Navigation Controls
                 a) No "Dead" pages without links
                 b) Location indicator / Where are you within the site

            5. Minimum of one (1) active link to an outside (related) web site

C. Web Site Requirements

            1. Home Page
            2. Five Topic pages
                 a) Each page covers a separate topic

D. Design Requirements

            1. Must have a recognizable Graphic Theme
                 a) Consistency of colors
                 b) Consistency of buttons / links
                 c) Consistency of Fonts / sizes
                 d) Consistency of page layout / positioning of elements

E. Content Requirements

            1. Digital Photograph (yourself)
            2. Scanned Image
                 a) Turn in original with finished assignment

            3. Clip Art
                  a) Appropriate for page content & Design
                  b) Original saved in "originals" folder
