PGHS Computer Lab Rules


  • You are responsible for your account. Do NOT share your password. ALL log-ons are tracked. Problems will be traced to the log-on user.
  • The Internet use policy and ALL Pottsgrove Discipline policies apply.
  • No computer surfing. You are NOT permitted to work in any area of the computer other than the one assigned by the teacher.
  • Report any internet site problems to the teacher immediately. ALL internet sites are monitored.
  • NO vandalism. This includes damage to the hardware, software network, other people's files, etc.
  • NO inappropriate language and/or visuals in the lab and/or on floppy disks.
  • Students  will be permitted to use floppy disks to store and retrieve data which is relevant to assigned projects.
  • NO programs or games may be loaded onto any Pottsgrove School District computer

SPECIFIC COMPUTER LAB RULES

  • Students must check computer and equipment immediately upon sitting at assigned workstation. ALL problems must be reported to the teacher at once.
  • Students must follow assigned seating charts.
  • Watch your time! Allow appropriate time for saving and logging off.
  • Never hit the printer icon more than once. Printing may take time. Report problems - Do NOT Re-Do the task.
  • At the end of class, push chairs in and turn mouse upside down.
  • Do not exit the room until your teacher has checked the equipment.
  • Absolutely NO food or drink in the labs at any time.

Breaking any one of these rules will result in disciplinary action,
Up to and including expulsion!
