DV1 - Text Only Trailer
Your first assignment with digital video will be to create
a public service announcement for a non-profit organization. The purpose
of this lesson is to introduce you
to the digital video editing
program, Adobe Premiere. We will
begin by learning to use some of the
basic features that are important to
producing complete digital video
presentations. Your final product
will be an Announcement for
an upcoming event (Relay for Life),
Information about an
organization (American Red Cross),
or an Exhortation that is
beneficial for the general public
(Stop Smoking, Don't Drink).
The final video will consist of text
information only with a continuous sound track in the background, much like those used for movies or television programs.

some brainstorming and then prepare
a storyboard in Power point to guide
you in the creation of your video.

Using Adobe Premiere, please
create the video
based on your storyboard Be sure to follow all the specifications listed below...
Program Specifications
- Thirty seconds in length
- One continuous track of music imported with SoundForge
- Cut transitions used between All slides
- Use of Premiere Title screen designer for creation of text stills.
- Solid color background
- All components for storyboard and video saved in a separate folder
with appropriate file name
- Final video rendered and exported, ready for viewing.
