Table Properties
Tables
(rows & columns) are the basic
building blocks of many web pages.
They provide a consistent and
definable space that is able to be
accurately (digitally) transmitted
and reproduced by any web browser.
This assures the web page designer
that those who view his web page
will see the page exactly as
intended. In order to
accomplish this, the web page
designer must be able to create a
base structure which is consistent
with the content and design theme of
the web site as well as accurately
manipulate the properties of the
tables and individual cells within.
The following assignments are
intended to cover some of the basic
table manipulations required to
achieve these goals.
